How to get the GLIDER

The different versions of GLIDER software and User's Manual may be downloaded from the GLIDER home page, following the link Distribución de GLIDER. For questions or problems, please contact Carlos Domingo or Marta Sananes, IEAC, FACES, Universidad de los Andes, Mérida, Venezuela.

GLIDER is available in versions: Windows, Linux and the original for MS-DOS operating systems.

A UNIX Solaris first version has been ported from the current MSDOS version by C. Domingo and M. Sananes while in sabbatical and permission year, respectively, at the Interdisciplinary Research Center, Departament of Mathematical Sciences of San Diego State University (SDSU), California in 1995-96. In another visit in 2000, under the Cooperation Agreement between SDSU and ULA, the Linux version was developed. Both versions are mainteined in ULA.

The software does not include Turbo Pascal V.6. gif for MSDOS version or Delphi 4 or 5 for Windows versions. The compiler and some units of these system are required to use GLIDER. They must be obtained from Borland International or authorized dealers.
